Infographic About The Future Of Telecommuting

Google the words "gig economy" or "freelance economy" and you'll get numerous trenchant articles on the rise of outsourcing online. If you haven't figured it out by now, using the Internet to make your life easier—it's a thing. You can order pizza online, and you can project manage from afar too. The rise of the gig economy is a nice way of saying that there has been a huge sea change in the nature of work. Working remotely maximizes time. Connectivity brings you closer to life's rich pageant. In 1980, 2.3% of workers telecommuted daily in the US. Thanks to technology, a quarter of US workers now telecommute at least some of the time. Telecommuting is on the rise around the world in China, India, the UK, France, Germany, and other countries.
